I came across this great article entitled ‘Conservative lawyers struggle with social networking’ in Lawyers Weekly.
The article highlights how this new media holds limitless possibilities for all types of businesses, even lawyers, but how it also creates anxiety in such circles largely because there is a level of ‘conservatism’ that is ingrained in many members of the legal profession.
Without doubt social networking and Web 2.0 technologies will become an area of focus and potential differentiation for law firms of all sizes as it is a medium that offers unique opportunities for the legal profession to connect with clients (and the community) and provide added value in the process.
