Queensland Chief Justice says tweeting is allowed …

The Sunday Mail indicated today that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland  is of the view that tweeting from the Queensland Courts is permissible, except by jurors.

I recently reported on the fact that tweeting from UK courts has been sanctioned by the Lord Chief Justice. When I reported on that development, I noted that I hoped that Australian courts would soon give guidance on this topic in the Australian jurisdictions.
