Despite my flirting with Twitter and various other social media vehicles over the last couple of years, I am still a firm believer in the usefulness and effectiveness of a strategic and well-managed blog.
The survival of my blog, despite recent populist trends in social media, stands as a testament of the staying power of blogs.
While Twitter is an effective medium for quick, sharp messages and ideas, and I very much enjoy using it, 140 characters represents a major limitation on developing ideas and getting your messages out … consequently, blogs reign!
