The Google autocompletes that have angered me

After reading an article at Mashable on a new UN ad campaign for women’s rights based on Google autocompletes offered when the phrases ‘women should’ and ‘women need to’ were typed into the search bar, I thought I would try the same for the following phrases:

  • ‘gays need to’;
  • ‘gays should be’; and
  • ‘gays should’.

I don’t think I need to make any comments on the outcome of this little experiment as the screen capture images below speak for themselves:

Update: 8 January 2014

After tweeting the above results a few times, it seems Google has deleted or blocked these autocompletes as they no longer appear.
