The brainchild of the charming Josh Rea, Gourmet Life had become the go to place in Sydney for celebrity chefs, celebrities, and mere mortals alike.
If you are after quality, fresh produce, from French chanterelle mushrooms, to Italian porcini, black and white truffle, caviar, foie gras, Spanish octopus, and a plethora of other delectable, luxurious, and memorable ingredients, this is the place to visit.
If you visit in person, there is customer parking at the rear of the shop. And why wouldn’t you, when you can buy truffle and caviar at wholesale prices. I repeat: wholesale prices!
Frankly, you can’t afford not to drown your scrambled eggs in truffle at those prices, even if it’s just a once a year treat for a special occasion, or just because … The truffle and various mushrooms are flown in seasonally, so you have to keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates, but it’s worth the wait and effort!
Most other produce, such as caviar, cured meats, olive oils, olives, pastas, and much more are available around the year, and you are guaranteed to be able to create a gourmet feast at home with the quality ingredients from Gourmet Life.
If you can’t visit in person don’t despair, you can shop online, with your treats delivered anywhere in Sydney, and arrangements are available for interstate deliveries.
